PROPOSALS FOR PUBLICATIONS
MULTIPLES. welcomes exhibitors makers and publishers of artists’ books, art periodicals, zines, or visual and print culture in all forms, including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. Interested publishers and booksellers should send a 500 word or less description of their organization or project to us via email. Shared tables cost $50. Ad exchange options are also available, where applicable.

PROPOSALS FOR PROGRAMMING
There are several areas in the fieldhouse, including a stage and balcony, available to stage special programming. We are currently accepting proposals for lectures, panel discussions, workshops and performances, or any other kind of experimental action. Please send a 500 word or less description of the program to us via email, time limit, and preferred time slot during open hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Multiples. is a temporary crossover market opening for one weekend in March and October 2014 showcasing objects produced as multiples. As a premise show, Multiples. seeks to span the division between art and craft, which are intimately connected, yet often artificially separated by preconceived notions of social value. Modeled as a hybrid of the contemporary commercial art fair, critical craft markets and an exploration of visual art forms, Multiples. is an affordable option for contemporary artists and makers looking to expose their practice and sell their editions, replicated hand-made, or manufactured works in Chicago. Please click the apply link above to showcase your work at our Spring or Fall markets, or the about link to learn more about art multiples.

We will notify everyone who applies by February 22 for our March event, though we are always examining submissions and you may hear from us sooner.

Once accepted, we will contact you for the specifics of what amount of space you are requesting, whether a whole table, half a table, or roving. We will also send you an Exhibitor's Handbook which is essentially your "user's manual" to participating in Multiples.

Deadlines and Entry Fees are as follows in USD:

FINAL "LATE SLEEPER" DEADLINE TO APPLY: FEB. 22! – Entry Fee: $35

The fees includes 3 images; an additional fee of $5 per image for up to 10 total images entered.

*Successful candidates will be notified by email by February. 22 for those applicants submitting their entry by the deadlines as scheduled.

Please, no emails or phone calls for results.

Participation Fees:

For a $450 table fee, you can apply for a standard table arrangement to sell your multiples. Applicants can apply as individuals, or with a group, though applications for groups should include the names of all participating artists, contact info and websites.

For a $225 table fee, you can apply for a shared table. If you have another vendor in mind with whom you'd like to share your table, please indicate their name(s) in the application. Otherwise, the Multiples. team can find another vendor to pair you with from our list of applicants.

For a $225 fee, you can also apply to sell your wares from a small roving exhibit, which could be a bicycle, cart, or even a handbag (what, you've never heard of Clutch Gallery?) instead of a standard table. This is a fun option for those whose showcase benefits from being able to move freely about the event.

Please note that, while we will still accept applications after the final February 15 deadline, participation fees will increase by $100.

Full table dimensions are 96"w x 30"d. Shared tables are half these dimensions.
